CNC Bin Storage
Warehousing with no aisles and nobody inside it.
An overhead-rail CNC system for warehousing the output of the other production systems, adaptable to many of them. Because it runs overhead it can be extended indefinitely, and it keeps a database of every item in storage and retrieves them automatically.
Overhead storage doesn't need the aisle access a conventional warehouse does, and it needs no management staff inside the storage area at all, which takes injury potential down to near zero. It can go in a basement, inside the URFT tunnels, or at any scale of warehousing required. The benefits are operational simplicity and unbridled expansion.
